Jacqueline Martinez is a Los Angeles and Miami-based costume designer, currently pursuing her MFA in Costume Design at UCLA. She received her BFA at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

Her designs for Luis Alfaro’s ELECTRICIDAD were awarded an Honorable Mention at the Southeastern Theatre Conference Undergrad Competition and were featured at the 2011 Prague Quadrennial.

In 2009, she completed a year-long internship as a costume shop manager at Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, Tennessee. During her internship, she designed two productions: A YEAR WITH FROG & TOAD and SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE TOO!

Most recently, she worked on her first television series MAGIC CITY in Miami, as a costumer. Season 1 of MAGIC CITY premiered on Starz in Spring of 2012.
